Typical, the ftp server is blocked by my schools filter. I'll have to wait until I get home to start fixing everything. Thanks for those links though Bradley, made quite an interesting read

Hack into your schools server and change that. Good luck when you get home.

OK, I give up. How can I get rid of the right hand margin in firefox without stretching the page? I had been using margin: 0px; which worked fine in IE but doesn't seem to work right in FF ross.2plans.com/images/that_gap.jpg

Here's something that took my forever to figure out in Firefox. What's the root element of a page? I bet you want to say body, but FX defines it as html. Just change body to html, body in your CSS and you should be fine.

Still doesn't want to appear right. I'm going to copy what I've got so far back onto the main site now. But this is what I've got in the CSS file at the moment: html, body { background-image:url(/about/bg_module.jpg); background-position: right top; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-color: #ececec; margin: 0px; font-family: 'comic sans ms, arial, verdana'; font-size: 12px; font-weight: normal; }Is that right?

Looks like your banner is relaitvely positined to from the left. Right now it's hanging off the right side. The web developer tool bar for Firefox would be a great help for you. If you d/l that select outline block level elements.

Thanks for that. Fx has finally become useful to me ;D OK, I've copied over the new coding. Valid CSS and XHTML. AJAX so the clock, banner, counter and ads don't reload with every page view. Fx compatible. Static image (no longer changes with every page view). So, what else do you want to suggest? I'm all ears

You can't rely on everyone to have javascript enabled. You should still have the old non-js links work. Take a look at this for a menu: theccworld.com/menudemo.htmIt was just something I threw together quickly so it might not work completely right in IE. Edit: Oh, and um... theccworld.com/pro/ross-site.png

Firefox doesn't re-do the layout of the entire page when the contents of a element changes, it simply stretches the element.
But it looks like you found a solution.
