First of all I like the on/off icons a lot, they look very modern and make the skin look a lot better, the background is fine, you never need anything too complicated for a background and i think the colours work nicely with the boards, icons and background I only have one idea for improvement, make at least one section where guests can access the forum, maybe for forum support or support with logging in, as that also makes a more inside view of the forum, other than that good work its looking good

Good idea... I will make a category for guests and make two boards and have one for login trouble etc and then one for guests just to post in commenting on the site etc. By the way, a banner has now been added

Sorry. I won't give you too many good things since all that helps is your encouragement and self-esteeme for the forum. I think it's looking great. I love the banner. It looks really nice. The on/off icons fit it well too. Now for the not-so-good stuff. That menu buttons bug the hell out me. They're way up top. I know you made them to look like that, but I think they'd look better v-aligned to the middle. The width of the banner and tables and such a few pixels larger than the center-piece of the background. I think the only thing that fits is the Information table. I think putting the 'Last Post Cell Highlight' code would be good. That would make the table feel...well..filled. lol. The two links there are cell-highlighted, so it'd fit nicely IMO. I don't know what it is; I guess it's just that I like small text. But maybe making the cattext and titletext smaller (like 10px or so) would help in that aspect. It won't change all the big text, but it'd get a good chunk of it and would make the bars look nicer IMO. Especially change the PM Bar text. >.< I know the banner looks neat, but maybe putting the 'v1' over next to version 1's name would make it look nicer. I dunno. It just took me a little bit to find out what the version was called because it's seperated onto two different sides of the banner. Also, what would look good is to put a row above the banner (you can do that either by coding, or editting the banner and putting it in there. I think editting the banner would be easier) and you could possible even put a fancy image or something that says the name of the forum and the version. I dunno what it is about the background, but it makes the forum looked all cramped up. Maybe just a bar on the very sides of the forum if anything should be put there. It just looks like it's squashing the rest of the forum because the forum has to be aligned just right on it. I dunno. I'm just glad I'm not claustrophobic. Sorry for all the bashing I did, but specific and sometimes harsh critisism is one of the best ways of finding ways to improve your forum. You get opinions out front and straight, so you know exactly what other people think instead of them hiding in the bushes and you not knowing what else to do with it. All-in-all, it needs a good bit of work, but once you're finished, I think it'll look awesome.

My opinion on the banner is that it looks nice but needs two things done to it, "Dark Dimension" is alittle difficult to read on the banner and i would suggest changing the colour of that text maybe making it abit lighter? And maybe get rid of "V1"? Ok it is version 1 and its your first version of that site, great, but you dont want people to think that its your first attempt at that forum because if you look at any forum, the first version was never the best and tends be the worst and i dont know about other people but when i see a forum knowing that it is the first version puts me off, its a stupid suggestion, but when i make my banners i never include the version number in it.

WoW!! Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for being completely honest.. First thing i would like to say, is about the buttons, i acxtually discussed changing them before i went to bed last night with someone lol... So in a way, thats quite ironic. Secondly, the BG, i know, i thought it seemed a bit to crampy too.. And i will be changng that.. Hopefully, i will be able to get the creator of the banner to take off the 'V1' text because i agree with the part about it putting people off, and im not too sure about making the 'Dark Dimensions' text lighter, but i will see if he will do that.. Also, i honestly dont think the text size on my forum is too big, i think it is fine how it is I will see about the 'last post cell highlight' code, cos im not too keen on highlights. But then again, if the members and other people like it like that, i will do it for them.. Also, the PM Bar text, maybe i could make that a little smaller, bu im not sure, yeah maybe i will.. But to be honest, i wasnt even planning on keeping the PM Bar which i have on at the moment.. I was planning on maybe getting the dynamic pm bar code.. Thanks for the feedback guys... EDIT: I have changed my background image, does that look better or worse?

Source (W3 Schools)It's a bad design habit to get into to design to only one resolution.
