I'll take a shot at rating your forum.
[colors:]Your colors are soft, and somewhat dark. A good balance and mixture. They do stand out to me as unique and they do not hurt the eyes. Your colors do match the graphics of your forum, so you did a good job here. 3:3
[graphics:]Your graphics do match the colors of your forum, but let me go into detail starting at the top working my way down. Banner: Your banner is okay, it's a nice size I can grant you that, but where is the action? Shouldn't your banner have a bit more action, I suggest perhaps adding more stock images in the banner. Use hocky players, pucks, and a landscape for the background a hocky ring. Find your stock images and post at a graphics request board. Background: Your background is nice, so a good job there. It does match your banner and your colors, I have no other comments about your background image. Grads: Your grads are simple and pleasant. They fit in with the theme of your forum very well. They do match the colors, and are easy to make out, I think the grads are one of your strong points. Good job here  On/Off icons, aka new/old icons: Your on/off icons are simple and nicly done they fit in good. I do not suggest changing them, as they fit in nicly. Info Center Icons: They are the defaults perhaps the stats one can be a hocky puck and the usersonly a hocky stick? Just have them colored to match your colors and other graphics. 1:3
[coding:]Your coding is fine. I usually suggest CSS to be added to color things, but I beleive your board doesn't need it. 3:3
[appeal:]Your appeal is good, I was shocked about the colors, seriously. Though your banner is a bit of a put down. 2:3
