Anyways, today at school, I browsed the internet in English, typed an essay in History, somewhat listened to my teacher in Biology, worked deligently in Spanish, slepted in Geometry, and took a typing test in my computer class and showed off tommyhuynh.netMy friend Lindsay brought me a sandwich in the morning and my friend Samantha gave me a ride home.

Well, for school: math was boring as usual. We went through different basic properties in algebra which we learned last year, took two pages (front and back) of notes, then finished the homework in class. During language arts, we were given the paper that gives us details on our independant novel assignment and portfolio, what to do, how and where to get books, suggested titles and topics, suggested genres, etc. During history, we played music real loud through the DVD player, onto the speakers of the computer, with some cool games playing on the SmartBoard (all of my classrooms have them; they're greater than a chalk board or a regular whipe board, soley because you're intergrating technology into classes that shouldn't have such equipment). Science was boring as usual. After watching a screen saver/slideshow type thing on the SmartBoard, we discussed more classroom policies, the types of chemicals we'd be using in our chemistry unit, and various other things. Physical education was boring, again. We started our softball unit today, but because it was raining on the softball fields, we had to play whiffelball inside the gym. I got three hits in, one run in, and caught two flies. Caused two outs throughout the game, though. Journalism was fun today, too. We worked on a paper that would start us on AP-style writing, as we'll be writing some different publications that will be put into the New Student Journalists section of the school paper. Our writing will only be considered for the paper if it is written in AP-style, which is a helluva lot different than writing regular. With the unit we're working with, it should take thirteen weeks to learn AP properly, but I know I'll have it done sooner. Then, when I got home, I did some more math homework, ate dinner, then sat down in front of the computer. There's nothing to do outside, as we're being hit with what's left of Hurricane Katrina, and we're getting a lot of rain. I wanted to go out bike riding this afternoon, too...

Hmm... First I had Church History (I go to a Catholic school ) which was boring as usual. We learned something about some saint... then watched more of a video series on the first 1000 years of the church. Next, I had Honors Geometry/Honors Algebra. It's really fun. We did some stuff with basic Postulates (sp?) and Theorems. Since it was Tuesday, I then had to go back to homeroom (I happen to have HR and CH in the same room). Announcements and something else... Third hour I have Symphonic Band. Today was chair placement tests... Don't think I did to great. I got to miss a few minutes of English though. Well, on to English were we discussed nouns and verbs. Then lunch. After lunch I have Chemistry. We played with the Bunsen burners practiced lighting the Bunsen burners (well, they're actually Tyrell (sp?) burners). Then German class were we're still reviewing stuff from last year. Finally, I have World History. We talking about cavemen and such. Easy class. Then I came home did, did somethings, including making/fixing 3 codes (see code acc.).

Pssh. As usualy I got up at 6:30, having had only a few hours sleep, went online for a few hours, got ready and left home at 8am. It took me 1/2 hour to walk to the train station, then half hour on the train and then a 1/2 hour bus ride to get to where I had to go (my volunteer place). I then worked on some projects for a few hours...didn't really do much else except learning to remove all their pop up blockers so I can now get on AIM while I'm there, took me 20 minutes At around 12:30 I left for the 1 1/2 hour trip home, always fun. This really weird guy came up to me and started talking to me...kinda scary, he followed me whenever I tried to walk away, at least he got off the first stop . Um then I came home, went on the net for a few more hours until 7pm then left to go to a family friends place for dinner, it was rather amusing...not. I only just got home and it's 10pm. Overall my day wasn't that bad, just a little boring
