At school, we're required to have an email address. Mine is "tommy_fhs@tommyhuynh.net" people are like, "COOL!! YOU HAVE YOUR OWN EMAIL!!" (cause of the domain) lol. ;D
So people are all "Way cool!" Like it is only something that the rich and famous has.
That ever happen to any of you?

Good thing I don't have to have an email for school. I made one anyway, in case I need to contact teachers. See, I don't want them to have my actual email address.

Heh, the majority of people have very little knowledge of the internet and even basic things are difficult for them to comprehend. I wish we were actually allowed to use email at school, the only one I could access was gmail and thats because he didnt know about it. Our school internet person blocked the other major ones

I managed to break the virus scanner on the computer I used last year. Along with getting around the protection which is supposed to block you from the command prompt.

You know how schools have filters that blocks you from accessing certain sites? I found out how to bypass those.

They don't have those at my school. They trust us. They'd kill you if you did something stupid.

You know how schools have filters that blocks you from accessing certain sites? I found out how to bypass those. I seriously have to figure out how to do that. We have some program on all school computers which puts about one hundred people monitoring every computer in the school system from their remote office location. If somebody is at a site they shouldn't be at, somebody at this remote location will lock the terminal, contact the person in charge of you, and have you removed from the computer.

LOL@ 2 screens. My video card has 2 outputs. It can output to a screen, and a TV or 2 monitors. (I am getting a 19" LCD screen soon. So I'l have a 19" LCD and a 17" CRT) I used to help the teachers (And the library staff) with the computers all the time. However that was back when the PET computer, Commodore 64, and Apple][e was king... The Pet Computer: The Commodore 64 Apple][e (Before GUI interfaces, spyware, adware, and the internet. LOL)

Same here! My parrent got me a C64 for school. And they also got the first word processor that had spellcheck. It would highlight the word that was spelled wrong, and you had to look it up in a dictionary! LMAO! There was no such thing as grammer check, or auto sudject. LOL

Haha, I had a C64 (and get this, I'm fourteen) for about ten years! It's the first thing I ever used computer-wise, and it had a lot of really cool games. I loved that Ghostbusters game my mom had gotten me. I used that until about 2000, which is when we got some new computer and a version of Windows.
