Sup Ladies [OverView Of GGD History]

Mabey ur not a lady, but o well you clicked it right, mabey u wanted to see what ur old buddy Seany was going to say, well, mabey u dont know who Sean Is and if not well you really need to read the archives, I usta run this shit, and i can see it now some 13 year olds gunna correct every little spelling error and try to diss me, lol, read back and you'll see its been done. Ok i didnt do it on my own Tommy kept it going w hen i wasnt around, the best part about us starting this forum is that niether of us had any prior graphic experience at all, except for a little MS paint mabey. Lol. wow lets try and start a major graphics forum, our idea was to hire people to do the shit for us. Guess what it worked, in a week we had about 3 people that were well known around proboards forums (support and such). I cant member their names, umm, o well.

Setting:

It was a warm summer night here in Michigan, around 67 degrees. Around 12 am EST, Im tired, im pissed, i had just got banned from another forum i put allota sweat into (at the time Consturct Design at time run by Knight_2020 - now Digital Inflection now run by some punk ass kid).
Anyways im pissed so i tell my old pal Tommy, he was ounce a member at another one of my large forums (PBSCodes - shutdown for a member stealing copywriten codes and posting them while i was away on vacaton, i come back and my large forum of 400 members was gone, mabey some of you have been there.) and i had talked to Tommy about how i wanted to start a bigger forum than (contsruct) DI, and he seized the oppertunity.

The Place:
Here was were the base camp for our new Graphics forum was formed. Well as we chated on AIM and got to know eachother, we grew a friendship (something i feel is neccisary for two admins to have), by day two (well the same day because it was after midnight ) at around 4 pm EST we still had no name. Well, (not to brag) i came up with the creative Gray Grid Design name. After seeing what Tommy had allready started before i hoped on the "Design Train", Tommy was looking for a partner, and i was the man. My past experiences with large forums and coding abbilities drew him right to me (well that was for drama). Anyway the forum had the look it has today, and my eyes saw the little gray grid in the background and (just as Emeril from that show Emeril Live would say it) BAM! GGD was born.

OverView of the History:
I dont belive any of our members from the first week are still around, i remember helping my first "Customer" her username - shancai19, her question was if I could get her a Hex code for Pink i gave her 4 or 5
As the members grew so did the termoil (ok no it didnt - but that sure as hell sounded good) But we became more popular, i remember the day we made Google, the day we met 100 members, I was so confident in this forum that I bet Mr. Knight_2020 over at DI i would beet him to 200 members after starting at 50 behind.

The Day That Will Live In GGD History:
In the Month of August? I believe, Tommy could clear it up, I added some things to the forums to bring in members without Tommys aproval (I figured he would understand I meen how hard is it to remove a Board right?) but boy was i wrong. I left the house leaving AIM on, when i got home I had About 40 IM's from Tommy Saying "What did you do", and stuff like that, well of course i tried to explain to Tommy what i was thinking, but i must have got Heated at some Point and he Banned me removed my Admin Powers and temporarily IP banned me. AIM banned me, i lost all contact with my baby forum, I felt like a military father that had just went to war and missed the birth of his new child.
Anyway. I later Had a person i Know start spamming the forum, you know "SeanTheMotherfudgeingGreatest" that was my buddy, from around here, What he said did not reflect my views. But i did enjoy reading what ya'll were saying to him.

Iv rambled on enough.
I just wanted many of the newer members to know what was up. and why they kept seeing sticky threads by some guy named Sean.

See a part of me is in this forum too. A lot of this forum is from my pre-made template from long ago.

If you don't remember, that's how I was attracted to this place. Because I was wondering why a "graphics" forum was using a premade template. Kind of weird. GBT and GGD. Grey-Blue Tech and Gray Grid Designs.

I really enjoy the forum though. Just wish it was a little more active.
