Bandwidth theft annoys the hell of out me. I've been going through my October reffer logs to find hotlinkers. I've reported two proboards already and have at least two more to investigate.

No one is able to hotlink any images from my domain except GGD and PBSupport. Or unless I specify otherwise. When people try to, I can find out where they are hotlinking and I can take action.  People can hotlink the images from our photobucket account, any except the board images used here. |

how can you find out whos hotlinking your images and the site? sounds cool iv had some people hotlink my animation sig at my site and PBS

Since I have a domain and a paid host I can see referrer logs. I look to at boards that have referrer log entries that I've never been to or shouldn't have that many. Then I find what they're hotlinking and report them. On one board I changed the image they were hotlinking to this:  |

Actually when that admins members see that image, they will start talking. The admin is supposed to set a example and follow the rules but then again, they screw up. And the penalty is whatever picture CC puts up and a TOS report to. lol

You shud have changed it so they were hotlinking porn, then you cud have reported them and they wud have got deleted ;D Since hotlinking is illegal I think they'll get deleted since I did report them beacuse it is illegal and anything illegal is against the TOS.
