I'm thinking of coding a complete forum system. I need a few alpha testers. The first hard part is going to be configuering my router.(done) Piece of shit... I'd like suggestions for it. Right now I'm looking for some opinions on this, please give some kind of reason: 1) Database system - MySQL, XML, or MS Access 2) Simple improvemnts over PBv 33) A name If you get an error when you go here please give me a screen shot of it. Thank you. (fixed) ...url...

Can I get a screen of the 502? I need to tell if it's using the one on my server or a default one.

I'm going to start learning Perl. Once I accumulate a vast knowledge of that, I'm going to code my own forum system myself. Its only going to be personal use, and who knows, I might start a remotely hosted service. Brad, expect a phone call from me at 6pm 9pm EST.

I fixed my router finally. Now I'm trying to setup MySQL. No suggestions on the above? EDIT: I'm going to use XML instead of MySQL since MySQL won't run.

I prefer to use flat-files. More friendly in my aspect I will be on tomorrow, maybe offering some suggestions for those of you with the forum systems Mike

I'm using flat files for simple things like the banner URL and XML for complicated things like all of the members info.
