Start off with a new transparent document. I used 400x150. 1.Select the gradient tool and make sure it's on difference and all the boxes are unchecked and make gradients like crazy 2.then, filter, stylize, find edges. then image, adjustments, auto contrast 3.duplicate the layer 4.edit, transform, flip horizontal 5.set it's blending mode to lighten 6. ctrl E to merge the layers. by now you should have something that looks like this: 7. auto contrast again 8.duplicate the layer 9.filter, sketch, chrome use 4 & 7 for settings 10.auto contrast. it should be darker now 11.put the chrome layer below the other, and set the top layer's blending mode to lighten 12.color each layer 13.ctrl E to merge 14.auto contrast then, if you want the colors to show up more, go to image, adjustments, brightness/contrast and move the contrast slider up like I did for my final image: I didn't like that one as much because of the way I did my gradients there's too much blank space on the sides so I made another which I like better:
