These are the solutions I've encountered on installing fonts.
1. You must restart the image program after installing the fonts. (Sometimes even your whole pc) 2. You can't extract the font to the "FONTS" folder. You have to cut and paste or go to file >> Instal new font 3. Your computer will only hold a certain amount of fonts. Try deleting a font that you don't use and replace it with the one you downloaded.

(1) - I use to do that (2) - No you dont, you save it to whereever, then you double click it and it will open up in winzip, then you extract it to Window > Fonts (or thats what i use to do, and now do and it works fine) (3) - No, xion/stalker has like 1000 fonts and he doesnt have that problem....
I have my fonts working again, well, i can now install them and they work........
I was told by Oliver on SSD to go into my fonts folder, click CTRL+A to select all, then to unselect all, and then go into my image program and try using the font, and he sed that shud work, and it did......

1. Some old programs might require this. 2. If you can't do that your a limited account and can't modify any system folder such as the windows folder. 3. I have 1395 fonts. I don't have any problems.

Well my pc will only allow like 800 fonts. And I asked Windows why and they said it was so that programs don't suck up so much memory loading the fonts. I also use an ME. that might be why. And one time when I extracted a font to the folder, it had an error and didn't work.

I've got 1901 fonts on my computer...and oddly enough, I tried to download a few more today but I haven't figured out how to get them to where I can use them yet...
