This is for those who are not too sure what size images should be, example:
BG's, Avatars, banners...
Right:
Banners/Logo's: They should be approximately 650x150pixels (That would be the best size anyway). With banners the width should ALWAYS be wider than the height........
Signatures/Sigs: These can range from about 200x60 to 550x150.....The best size for a sig in my opinion would be 450x130pixels.......
Avatars/Avvys: These can be smaller than the maximum size of 100x100, but i think avatars are best at the maximum rate of 100x100pixels, so it is best to make and request one of that size....
Backgrounds/BG's: Backgrounds should be roughly 800x800pixels, depending on whether or not you have the repeat, or fixed BG code on, if you have the fixed BG code on, then 800x800 is the best size, but if you have the repeat BG code on (or dont have a code on for your BG) then the best size is 1000x1000 (NOTE: If you make it 100x100, then dont put too much detail on, otherwise it will be a big image (Meaning in KB) and therefore it will take along time to load up....
Buttons: These should be about 9pixels heigh, and depending on the length on the text determines the width. So i cant really say a size for the width....
Affiliate Banner/Mini Banner: These should always be 88x31pixels, no bigger, no smaller........
Gradients/Grads: These range also, it depends on the width fo your forum, and on if you just want a basic grad (One with just color) or if you want one with some sort of image or effect or something to the far right, or center, or far left side.... if you want an effect or image on it, then you will need to find out what size your forum width is.....But if you just want a normal basic grad (They may be basic, but alot are really good) then they can be 10x35pixels....
If Tommy unlocks my thread about "If your requesting, read here first" then i can modify this and copy the text and reply to my other thread and post this info there......Or if he wants to add it, he can, but reply to the thread, and say i wrote this
