Compatible with PSP5, PSP6, and PSP7Step 1) First step is to open an existing image or photo. Now, I wanted to fade the edges of this image into my page's background color. So I would have to set my background color to black. Step 2) Maximize the view of your image. Pick the Selection tool and set selection type to Rectangle. Set feather = 75 and antialias = off To fade the upper portion, drag your mouse from point A to point B to create a selection as shown below and press [Delete] key from your keyboard. Step 3) To fade the lower portion, drag your mouse from point C to point D to create a selection as shown below and press [Delete] key. Step 4) This is my final image after fading all the corners Step 5) You can also fade an image into background image. I am going to use my image shown below. Prepare two image files, I am going to use the clouds image below and the ski image. On this example, the clouds image will be the background. Step 6) Select the ski image. Press [CTRL+A] then [CTRL+C]. Choose the clouds image, add a new layer (Layers>New Raster Layer) then press [CTRL+E] to paste ski image on top of the clouds image. While on the second layer, do Step 2 and Step 3 and you should arrive almost the same result as below Ski Image Faded to Clouds Background Image
